Born in a musical family in 1981, Christian discovered drumming as a two-year-old. When he was 4, his composer-producer dad, Norman Dugas, bought him an adult-size drum kit and they played Stevie Wonder's Superstition as a first piece. Winnipeg's Gordon Osland (Graham Shaw) was his first drumming mentor.
Christian had his first professional engagement at age 10. He continues to be in high demand as a house drummer/percussionist and singer in a wide variety of musical spheres, including live performance, radio, TV and studio sessions. Christian is currently hoping to study with Montreal drummers Bernard Primeau and Jim Hillman.
